The Jointless Hull machine, located within the 3 million square feet of RIA-JMTC’s footprint, earned the 2024 Technical Achievement Award for 3D Printing Innovation at the 8th Annual Military Additive Manufacturing Summit & Technology Showcase.

AS9100
RIA-JMTC is registered to AS9100 and ISO 9001, and certified to the Army Material Command’s Contractor Performance Certifications Program (CP2) as a Department of Army manufacturing facility. This demonstrates a commitment to consistently providing products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including those specific to the aerospace industry. Our quality management system, built upon AS9100 principles, focuses on process control, risk management, reduction of escape rates, improved efficiency and effectiveness, achieving continuous improvement, and maintaining total customer satisfaction. Emphasis is placed on first-time quality, prevention of nonconformities, and robust configuration management to ensure product safety and reliability.

ISO 45001
RIA-JMTC is committed to the health and safety of its workforce, demonstrated through certification to ISO 45001, the international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. This certification reflects our proactive approach to managing risks and continually improving OH&S performance across all operations. Our ISO 45001-based system incorporates strong leadership commitment, active worker participation, and a robust process for hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementation of effective control measures. We maintain full compliance with applicable occupational health and safety regulations, and have established comprehensive emergency preparedness and response protocols to ensure organizational resilience. Utilizing the Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology, we systematically monitor, audit, and review our OH&S performance, driving continual improvement and a safer working environment for all employees. This commitment results in a demonstrated reduction in workplace incidents, injuries, and illnesses, reinforcing our dedication to worker wellbeing.

Shingo award recipient
RIA-JMTC was recognized as a 2007 Shingo Public Sector Gold Medallion Recipient for our Forward Repair System (FRS) and a 2007 Silver Medallion Recipient for our Shop Equipment Contact Maintenance (SECM) value stream. We were the Army’s first Gold Medallion recipient in 2006 and are the only two-time Gold Medallion recipient in the Army.

Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence
RIA-JMTC is designated as a Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Mobile Maintenance, specifically for their work with the Forward Repair System (FRS) and Shop Equipment Contract and Maintenance (SECM); Foundry operations; and Add-on Armor. Being named a CITE allows the RIA-JMTC to enter into partnerships to perform work which will enhance its maintenance core competencies.

Federal Energy and Water Management Award
RIA-JMTC earned a 2018 Federal Energy and Water Management Award in the Project category. This award recognizes RIA-JMTC's outstanding contributions related to energy and water cost savings, optimized energy and water use and the use of advanced and distributed energy technologies at federal facilities in fiscal year 2017.
