Rock Island Arsenal-Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center

Business Development

Our Mission

We connect with new customers, help them identify their manufacturing requirements and convert them into partners with the U.S. Army in order to develop, manufacture and deliver readiness solutions through conventional and advanced manufacturing processes.

Doing Business with Us

Public-Private Partnerships (P3): Through the Public-Private Partnership (P3) program, companies can take advantage of the critical capabilities and skill sets developed over the past 150 years at the Rock Island Arsenal. By bringing in new opportunities and business for development, the Army can maintain support critical to the Warfighter.

Public-Public Partnerships (P2): P2 utilizes the organic industrial base to supply critical parts, systems or services that could not be normally supported by sourcing them to only one Organic Industrial Base (OIB) facility. These types of contracts normally reduce procurement lead-time via direct funding, support OIB readiness by retaining critical capabilities, and provide more direct oversight during the execution of the funded order.
