DEPUTY COMMANDER

Gregory J. Lupton

Mr. Gregory J. Lupton is the Deputy Commander of the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC), a position which he has held since April of 2018. In this position, he oversees operations of the Army’s multipurpose metal manufacturing arsenal that designs, manufactures and delivers readiness solutions to the Army and joint services.

Prior to his position as Deputy Commander, Mr. Lupton served as Plant Manager, Director of Manufacturing Operations, Director of Resource Management, Deputy Director of Program Management and Engineering, and General Manager of Mobile Systems and Add on Armor, all at RIA-JMTC.

Mr. Lupton received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Marketing from St. Ambrose University in May of 2005. During this time he started working as a Co-Op Student in 2004 as a Production Controller. Shortly after graduation from St. Ambrose, he was promoted to a Program Manager at RIA-JMTC.

Mr. Lupton is married to Carrie who works at Army Sustainment Command and together they have three children.
